There are some things that require a total disregard of price tag.
Outlier. I have been looking to invest, whether it be a belt, wallet or a nicely braided leather keychain. This ML Brown & Co. collab. keychain was something that bothered me for a while until I finally ordered it.
He doesn’t always carry keys, but when he does, he prefers this.
Seriously spammers, you think I don’t know how to find porn on the internet? I can do it without “signing up” for anything too. While you’re at it, learn the difference between brackets and parentheses please, it’s a pet peeve of mine. Props on being somewhat gender neutral though.
Pretty sure you've always wanted to see me naked.. Well.. I'm feeling pretty adventurous today so go to datelink5(dot)com (switch [dot] with .) then sign up and find my profile under the username 'lolsummer69'. I hid my face in the pictures. but I want you to guess who I am and then hit me up on Facebook lol. Good luck.

Many weeks later… So as it turns out I’m not very good at these every day challenges. Whatever, we’ll keep going here.
My zombie apocalypse plan: This has the potential for a very long post so I’ll try to keep things brief. Want more? Read this, I have.
Pre-outbreak: get a bunch of stuff together. Some of it useless and some not. This may or may not include: water, food, clothing, shelter, survival gear, weapons, coms equipment, transportation, entertainment, etc.
Early outbreak: get your important peeps and get out of dodge. You don’t want to be an urban environment because lots of people = lots of zombies.
Late outbreak: weather the storm, learn to take care of yourself and others in hash conditions. Hopefully things blow over eventually.
Note: I’m not serious about preparing for a zombie apocalypse, just think it’s an interesting thing to think about. Much more interested in preparing for actual disasters because when they happen it would be nice to not stay in a shelter for days and rely on emergency services for help. If you’re not part of the solution, you’re part of the problem.
Would I be a zombie or zombie fighter? I suppose whoever made this thing was looking for the word survivor, but that’s beside the point. Hopefully I would fight them for a bit because getting turned right at the beginning would just plain suck. Chances are low of staying alive for long, especially in the city so it would all depend on getting out. This is with the assumption that we’re dealing with slow zombies, if they are fast (eg. 28 Days Later style) then there’s no chance. In that case I’d be alright with turning into a badass zombie that will chase people down like a cheetah to eviscerate the next second.
How long do I think I would last? Hopefully a little while, at least a few months. The first bit would be very hard, have to get out of the city to avoid being mobbed. After that I would have to find a good quiet town to stay on the outskirts of to have good access to resources. After a few months I’m sure they would grow scarce and changing locations would be necessary. Essentially I would have to adopt a nomadic lifestyle and travel very light. After a few months things like food and shelter would grow very scarce, also surviving the winter here would be very difficult. Anything longer than a few months would require traveling south as much as possible.
Yes I know, I missed a day. Was driving to Ontario to visit my family and it slipped my mind, deal with it. So would I be able to shoot a friend in the head if they turned into a zombie? For sure. I would see it as putting them out of my misery, and technically they wouldn’t be my friend anymore right? What kind of friend tries to eat the flesh off your bones then cracks them open to get at the marrow? Unless you’re into that kind of thing. The hard part would be shooting an infected friend before they turned. Though both they and I would probably prefer our last memory of each other to be both human. More to come tomorrow, time to visit with my folks.
edit: Yes sweetie but I had better have two bullets because the next one’s for me.
What would my team of celebrities to fight along side me be? What kind of dumb question is that? Frankly I don’t want to be working with people who would probably have such a hard time adjusting to life outside the mansion and movie set. Much rather be with my friends and people who make a difference in my life, we would be much more inclined to look out for each other. If the question meant what fictional characters I’d like to have working with me that’s a different story. My mind first jumps to Sam and Dean from Supernatural, capable guys with an arsenal in the trunk of that sweet, sweet ‘67 Impala. There would be a lot of bickering though and it would be a sad day when the gas runs out. Could be fun at first. In “reality” it would just be a ragtag group of survivors who bands together because the people you know are probably already dead, or undead…
When will it happen? 2015 is my guess, pretty soon but to much. People haven’t developed enough technology to make it happen. This is assuming a Resident Evil style zombie apocalypse where some government makes a pathogen that either falls into the wrong hands or just gets distributed nonetheless. Plus I like multiples of 5. This also conveniently gives me time to prepare, some sort of outbreak right now would suck. Harper needs to abolish the long gun registry so I can get my hands on a shotgun. Getting up close and personal with zombies sucks, especially when there are more than one which is almost always the case.
1. When do you think the zombie apocalypse will happen? 2. What team of celebrities would you chose to be in your team of fighting against them and why? 3. Would you be able to shoot your friend in the head if he turned into a zombie? 4. How long do you think you would last? 5. Would you be a…
This one is for plaintshirt. My new Pallys! Palladium Baggy Lite, they’re actually a spring/summer boot and in a breezy -2 degrees (28 F) my feet are cold! Doesn’t stop me from wearing them though.
They’re called Lite for a reason, they feel like a pair of Converse except they give a lot more coverage. Another great thing is the versatility of wearing them up or down. Right now with the weather the way it is I’ll keep them up for a bit, but I can change that as it gets warmer.
Special thanks to hausofdana for taking these cool pictures with her fancy camera.
